flood update..............

Well we are still flooded we reckon that we will be able to get out tomorrow fingers crossed......the house is clean the washings all done see what happens when your are stuck inside lol.....oh well no complaints here the gardens loved the rain, thankful its gone for a few days now though let eveything get back to normal....and the kids can get outside hurray.......until next time.....

Here we go again the water is at 15.5 metres and rising lucky we have supplies for a week because thats how long it will take to go down as long as we dont get anymore rain.....

here we go again....

lucky i have a pair of gum boots the water has been lapping just under the bridge.....we have had 2 days of sunshine now they tell us another 100mm of rain is on its way so today we have to go get all our supplies just in case we are flood bound over xmas......at least there is one winner in all of this the garden and veg patch look amazing.......until next time........try and stay dry lol......

and an update on 'mabel' for those of you who ask, my old truck being done up as the company vehicle, we are on the rebuild now got the first of many parts the other day her springs have been tarted up the chassis is getting painted woohoo i cant wait still having issues picking a colour mmmmm.....anyway until next time......

So yesterday i went out and looked at my very sad garden and thought right get into it and i did well the day was long but i was happy with the end result.....
after creating and gardening i find that im getting into photography too i love taking pics i have thousands lol and one of my favourite places to take them you guessed it ....in my garden.....

there is always something new out in flower which i love......so i thought i would share some pics......enjoy until next time......

I thought i would share a pic of the place where all the creating happens i am lucky enough to have my very own room......the only thing that isnt in this pic is the new sewing machine i bought a few weeks ago i need a bigger table now so they can both sit on lol........

november expo done and dusted woohoooooo

Wow what a day we were more prepared for the wind which wasnt as bad as last month but we hung in there for the entire day woohoo.....funny thing happened on the way to the expo this month was driving along i think it was about 4:15 in the morning and i came to a screeching stop moved to the side of the road rubbing my eyes not believing what i was seeing(mmmm) got out of the car with one of our table cloths ready to rescue what was sitting in the middle of the road im thinking how am i going to pick this up and drive mmmm so i inch closer saying its alright you will be ok got closer thinking oh you poor little koala sitting there on the road so i bend to pick it up and to my disgust it was not a koala but a mmmm.......

brown paper macdonalds take away bag i know you are all rolling around laughing your backsides off....dont worry Lara did too....time to get the eyes checked and drink more coffee b4 i leave home....mmm thought id share.....

what a day oooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeee

What a day we had oh my goodness.....i left home at 2:45am headed into Ipswich to pick the offsider up (lara) and off we headed up the mountain....WOW beautiful drive even though it was long well worth it....it was a huge day we met so many lovely people only a few brief showers which was great and the crowds wowee 4+ deep at times i dont think we sat down till 12:30ish we had soooooo many lovely comments and YES we will be back lol......
this gorgeous little girl (Ruby) here with her Grandma loves owls just like me and her grandma bought her one of ours and she had to wear it straight away she was sooooo cute.....Hi RUBY!!!!!!

Tambourine markets

Well Lara and i are off to tambourine markets tomorrow looking forward to it i used to go to these markets years ago and always loved the setting.....in the showgrounds(Main western Road) 8am-2pm if you happen to be in the area make sure you stop and say hi...until next time....
